Thank you, We do believe that there was an Almighty creator Jehovah, colossians 1:15 speaking of Jesus
He is the image of the invisible God the first born of all creation.
By means of him all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth.
Goes on to show all are in subjection to him.
Also Jesus will rule the world. We get our salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. They keep saying we don't believe in Jesus yet he is the center of our worship. But we do know that he has a father in heaven just as all of us do. A first cause.
3 ways to tell a cult, one secret meetings: JW;s meetings are all open to the public.
A cult has a human leader; Jw's have a leader Jesus who dwells in heaven.
You can't get out of a cult, JW's you can get out of it real easy just break one of God's laws and you will be out so fast your head will spin.
Some cults are violent advocating sucide. JW's don't go to war, non violent, and view sucide as a sin and murder. Both of which is not for Christians.

Jesus did not establish a "religion" when He was on this earth. Nor did Jehovah (God) establish a "religion" on this earth when it was created. Jehovah gave us His "laws", the Ten Commandments + one more. The Eleventh Commandment: Love one another. In the New Testament. No where in the Bible is there evidence of a "religion" established by God. Religions are establishments made by man. Some of them fit the definition of a "cult". The trinity is a falsehood. God the Father (Jehovah) is one personage (a spiritual being), God the Son (Jesus) is another personage (a spiritual being), God the Holy Ghost is Jehovah's active force (not a spiritual being). The Holy Ghost descended upon the apostles in the form of fire. This is an example of God's active force. Just as your active force would be shown to others by your running, or jumping, or skating, etc. Jehovah can cause things to happen, IE miracles, speaking in tongues, raising the dead, etc. Those are other examples of the Holy Ghost. They are not three different personages and are not "one" as the Catholic Church teaches. Jesus is in one with the Father, but are two separate personages. The Catholic Church can't even explain what they call "the trinity". They tell you it's a mystery. If you study the bible, you will find out that it's not a mystery. In fact, there is not much mystery to the bible. Jehovah God gives us this book to help us solve our problems on this earth and to enhance our relationship with HIM, our father, and our creator. It is well know that Satan is in control of this world and has been for a very long time. The start of WWI was the beginning of a downward spiral for humanity. Satan controls all governments and all religions. I feel that Jehovah Witnesses are the closest thing to the "real" religion on this earth. They are in fact not a religion, but a congregation of people that read, study, and live the bible. They have searched, researched, analyzed, and traced every symbol in the bible from the original manuscripts. They have questioned everything to find the truth, and the true meanings in the bible from the Hebrew to the Greek. The bible being God's word for us to live by. On the other hand a Christian is someone that merely believes in Christ. Oh, by the way, I am not a Jehovah Witness.

I would like to point out that Jehovah's Witnesses also think they are the true faith at the expense of the others. And they have the right like all others to do so. So it's strikes me as unusual that they don't like when others exercise the same freedoms they enjoy. And to correct your misinformation, Christians at least the majority, believe in monotheism as taught in the scriptures. One God three persons. I should like to point out that the person who founded the Jehovah's witness religion was forced to admit in court that he he was unable to read the early languages in which the scriptures were written. He was unable to identify the alphabet when it was held up for him. So I don't think he would be adequately qualified to introduce new doctrines. There are also different definitions of what a cult is. It can be a scary dangerous one or simply one that follows the teachings of their leaders. There is also a tactic that many groups use. They accuse those wo disagree with them of hating them. Is this to try and stop any questioning or legitimate disagreements? The problem is it is often employed by leaders to enhance a sense of isolation and persecution in an attempt to validate their own legitimacy.

According to Christianity there are absolute truths and one of them is that other religions besides Christianity are false. The Jehovah's Witnesses Theology differs from the traditional Christian dogma so that is why it is considered a cult (look up the definition of a cult: something that diverges from the traditional teaching)

I dont know how you believe that all Christians *hate* Jehovah's Witnesses but a true Christian does not hate someone for their beliefs

I am a Baptist and here is my take.

Jehovahs witness are Christians. They believe in Christ.

There are many among the church (The Body of Christ, Anyone who believes in Christ) who are so busy focusing on the differences among us they are fighting among themselves. It is sad because a divided house is easy to conquer.

Christians should respect other believers and focus on where we agree rather than getting all crazy about the differences. Jehovahs Witness is a denomination not a cult.

being a nice person does not bring you into a relationship with Christ and there are certain criteria you must meet first to be called false prophets isn't there ? Jehovah witnesses meet this criteria .
very briefly i am going to explain two times in jws history they have claim and dated the end of time it did not come to pass then what do you call a person are a Establishment that prophesies and it don't come true ? a false prophet
Jws got there start in 1879 by a man named Charles Russell my Friend charlie did not believe in hell, the trinity, the deity of Jesus , birthdays the u.s. military , Christmas ,Easter and that you must work your way to salvation so he created his own religion and any religion man creates to suit him self is called idolatry (ex20:3) your basic non denomination christian disagrees with his teaching because the bible say s different thats why he created his own bible to coincide with his teaching and if they dont like what they read , they simply change it like they change john 1:1 to take the deity from jesus. this is the truth that's why we can call many religion false because we do are home work on there religion if you were going to join a group wouldn't you do every thing to check out there claim woundnt you check out why people have left that religion wouldn't you ? then please check out Walter matters testimony a simple search on yahoo may you let god work in your life.

To many people base their beliefs on emotion and fail to pursue an open minded study of the Bible They follow traditions and what’s popular. The truth is sometimes hard to except. There are a lot of people showing their ignorance by answering what they don’t know! THE TRUTH IS OUT THEIR but it’s not popular!
Oh and BRAD! Look UP CULT!

Aren't Jehovah Witness a denomination of the Christian Church?
I don't understand the differences because We all worship GOD the FATHER who sent HIS SON to Die for our sins so that we may spend eternity with HIM in Heaven.

there has to be a right answer for everything. you can choose not to belive the right answer but we just point you in the right direction. if only one thing is right, all the others are wrong, correct? so if i tell you that 2+2=4 but YOU believe its 8 then your wrong but no matter how much i try, i cant convince you its four unless you realize that what you believe isnt the truth.

Trinitarians try to use the term "cult" like a sledgehammer to obliterate any thinking analysis of what the supposed "cultist" actually believes. Trinitarians embrace a bizarre, non-etymological, quite arbitrary definition of the term "cult" which includes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century slandered Christ's followers with the insulting term "Atheist" (!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Secular authorities in academia and government routinely acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion. With more than 16 million associating with Jehovah's Witnesses, the term "cult" seems very out of place in a fair discussion of Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians.

Sadly, Trinitarians seem more interested in perpetuating their human traditions, Greek philosophy, and Babylonish fetishes rather than reasonably examining the Scriptural definition of "Christian". In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all the times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"

(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”

(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name

So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded
