ok so this boy used to like me and he gave me poems and he asked me out, but i didn't answer and kept on walking away from him. i still have the poems but im not sure if he likes me still, but now i know that i like him so what should i do? by the way the boy and i were best friends and we always walked home together.

Tell him that you like him. Also, apologize for not responding to the poems. Maybe you just needed time or were nervous.
If he doesnt want to go out with you, try not to have hard feelings towards him. He kind of put his heart out there for you and you ignored it. That might be a little difficult to get over.
If you don't tell him you like him, he will never know!

Poor boy...he took a real risk sharing those poems with you and asking you out and you didn't even acknowledge it. That was definitely not friend behavior - and certainly not best friend behavior.
It is probably too late; but you should apologize - and really mean it - and have a good reason why you acted as badly as you did. You really need to grovel if you want his friendship back. Brace yourself for him to lash back at you if you approach him. He took a major risk and humiliated himself with you. He would be super human if he didn't strike back.
If he does, you have to accept it. You were in the wrong to dissmiss him. So accept it and tell him you want to make it up to him and still be friends if possible.

You can try warming him back up to you, but since he went out on a limb and you rejected him, that could be a problem.
When you did that, he possibly could have made the logical choice you weren't interested in him, and now has his focus elsewhere. Good luck.
PS. When a guy does that and you are not interested, at least acknowledge him, don't walk away like he isn't there. It took him alot of courage to do what he did.

You waited too long for your heart to decide whether or not you liked him, now you may have lost him. Just go up to him and ask him "If the offer still stands, then I would like to go out with you" , easy. Badda bing, badda boom. And any guy that writes you poems you never let them get away.

Well you were a total cruel cold biatch to him, now, weren't you? Hopefully he found someone better by now.
Don't ignore people who put their heart out there with things like poems. It's just really heartless.

well if you can still find him and knows where he lives....then definetly see if he will still like the idea of going out. but if you dont kno...you could try to find him and make sucsess then good luck.
but if you cant just move on in life and forget about the past.

aww thats sweet of him. it's okay that you walked away since you didnt like him back then. since you like him now, you should go tell him. or better yet, write HIM a poem telling him you like him. that would be sweet. or do something creative.
