these are some of what I have heard.

1.Dont contact him until he makes a big deal about not keeping in touch with him. Keep dragging this until he reaches his limit. Then use this excuse to dump him for being too overprotective. and then hook up with the other guy. If he doesnt overreact, then just let him fade away and perhaps he wants teh relationship to be over.

Tell me what you think? Is this a good way or do you have something else better?

Thats will hurt his feelings even more. Just be honest and come out with it telling him that he is a great guy, just not for you. If you ignore a guy, that is letting him slowly figure out you are blowing him off over many days of agonising wondering and worrying to eventually come to a conclusion you knew all along. At least spare him this, and if you are too coward to do this then you are scum.

Good way: BE DIRECT.

Take it as a given that his feelings will be hurt. They will. Be honest. Leaving him in limbo is just cruel.

Besides, if this is the sort of consideration you show people ("found someone else better"), you're doing him a huge favor. Tell him and let him get on with his youless life.

Are you freaking retarded? why go through the trouble -- his feelings will be significantly less hurt if you have the decency to just be up front with him.

If you think this what you listed is even a slightly good idea, you're in for a lot of crappy relationships my dear. Be real.

Tell this person how you feel about your situation.
Don't keep your true feelings from this person. In the end you are hurting yourself as well as him.
Don't hold onto the relationship if you have no feelings for him.
