I spent a whole afternoon carving out the pattern in foam and then casting it in Aluminum. I then spent all last night painting it for him. I really thought about him when I made his gift. So did he just not like it; was he being forgetful; or does he hate me? Thank you in advance for your time.

Guys are guys...! Don't you hate that! But then, if he were too nice he may well be gay or going that route! Just let him be himself and time will tell. I'm sure he just had a short memory and or wanted to keep it in the car to possibly not forget when leaving tomorrow for work, school, etc., to show and share with his associates or friends! You did good! Don't worry, and whatever happens, only time will tell whether or not he was meant for you, or, you for him! Hope everything turns out the way you'd like! Caio!

He is just a bloke. And most (not all) men can be inconsiderate sometimes. They don't understand that it's the little things that are important to woman. That woman need appreciation!! But don't fret and don't read into it too much. I doubt it was done deliberately and I don't think you should take it as a sign he is not interested. But get used to it... it's possibly an indication of what type of man he might be.. unromantic, thoughtless. Then again maybe he just forgot because he was so happy to see you. You are probably the best judge of that.

It simply means that he's not as sensitive about homemade gifts as you are. That doesn't make him a bad person and you shouldn't hold that against him. It's just not "his thing".

My girlfriend sent me a handmade xmas card and I think it's the most awesome thing...even though I don't even do xmas. But the fact that she took the time to make a card and handwrite a message says a lot.

Bake him some cookies and put in somewhat card telling him how a lot you've fun with him. some thing more beneficial problematic and he will experience awkward like he develop into meant to do some thing for you and did not.

I agree with the first person that the best answer is his answer. However if I were you I would deff. think that he didn't like it! Haha sorry. Maybe he just forgot. And I think you can rule out the hating you part.

He most likely just forgot it! But don't feel bad no matter what, you spent time and effort making him a cool gift. If he doesn't appreciate it, it's his loss not yours.

Maybe you are so beautiful he couldn't focus on anything except you. Forgive him for forgetting the gift. I'm sure he loves it.

He probably honestly forgot it and now feels like a heel about it. Don't read too much into it.

No. He doesn't hate you. He just forgot it.
Cripes. I've forgotten groceries and my own purse before!

I don't know exactly what you made but it sounds kind of cool. I really think he probably liked it but just accidently forgot it.
