My cat will try and lick anything that has ear wax ( human) on it like qtips and stuff

YES!!!!!! My oldest cat goes ape-**** for a used qtip!!!!! I thought I was the only one...

Might be a coincindence that the cat chews stuff that has ear wax on it. Cats love Q-Tips as a toy, many cats like to purrr and kiss your ears ect. Don't let them chew the Q-tips though, it could choke them. Cats dont commonly like human ear wax.
I've never seen a cat actually like it and search it out specifically.
Keep your ear waxy Q-tips in a garbage bin they can't get into.

I don't really understand your question. Does the cat eat ear wax or what? Are you talking about when it cleans its own ears and licks its paws afterward? That is natural for cats to do. But if they are eating someone else's ear wax, I would stop it. Ear wax has bacteria and germs in it.

Cat's are weird, mine likes to chew on plastic bags. They are no longer allowed in my house, that or they have to be behind closed doors (ie trash can). However, I am sure it is not good for the cat to be chewing on the q-tip. Just try to keep them picked up to where the cat can't get to them.
