This girl's mother asked me to join a bowling team (couples league) with her husband and daughter. Her daughter has the same boyfriend on and off for 2 years. We went out a few times during the "off times" but now her daughter is back with this guy (supposedly). The daughter just tells me things are "complicated" when I ask if she is seeing him. I think her mom was trying to set us up, but it doesn't seem to be working out that way. The daughter is really confused between me and the other guy I think. Should I stay on the bowling team or kindly quit? I'm just not sure why I am on the team and not her daughter's bf? Any ideas on any of this? :)

I think you should go bowling and have a good time, try being a friend, you'll be amazed at far that can get you. In the mean time try not to think about where the "relationship", or lack of, is going. Just try having fun and don't be serious. Good luck!

ask the mother if she asked th bf, if she did maybe he didnt want to join.. ask the girl if it bothers her with you being there..now if it bothers you...then quit... the mother is probably trying to set her daughter up with you... maybe she's helping and maybe she thinks her daughter needs a guy like you than a guy that can't even decide if he really wants to be with her daughter..

if you like to bowl and you like the girl don't be so quick to quit. Hang around a few weeks and just be a friend and see what happens.

i would say that if the girl can't choose between you and this on again off again bf why should you waste your time you really should move on and leave her be she really doesn't sound like she is worth your pain and suffering hope this helps a bit

hey think the best thing to do is leave her alone untill u know she is free, let her come to you if and when she wants or i think there may be trouble along the way.

Good Luck
