My brother's step-grandson just finished his Eagle Scout project. He did it by adding two roofs and fencing at his church's storage facility.

Maybe you could participate in a Habitat for Humanity house-building.

is this a project for just you or your whole pack? Does it have to be connected to a charity, it can't be like doing odd jobs for a couple old people in your neighborhood?
Here is a list of a few ideas, some you can do alone, other's would be best if done as a group.
contact the local redcross and organize a blood drive.
Volunteer to work the cantina, or snacks @ a blood drive already being organized.
volunteer @ the local animal shelter or aspca
teach a group of cub scouts a skill for a badge
do a bake sale for a charity
organize a food drive for the local food pantry
auction your eagle scout pack/boyscouts out for odd jobs
pancake breakfast w/ money raised to go toward charity
get a list of odd jobs from a local church that some of the elderly need done like cleaning gutters, shoveling snow
if you have a local group home for younger kids, or a charity daycare/preschool type program, you can volunteer to tutor or read to them/ play w/ the kids for an hr a week after school.

whis should get you started

Hi Tom, Congratulations on achieving the rank of Life Scout. Here are some suggestions for beginning the search for an Eagle Service Project. Your first discussion should be with your Scoutmaster. He should know if any of the following have provided opportunities for Eagle Service Projects in the past. Your church Your Troops' Chartered Partner Your City's Park and Recreation Department Your local County Park System Your local Library System Your local food shelf Ultimately, you will need to decide what type of project excites you and that you will be able to give 110% to make it successful. Please remember that your Eagle Service project is about your ability to demonstrate your leadership skills developed since you first became a Scout. You need to develop the project plan, it's goal, and how you plan to achieve the goal. Since this is your Eagle Service project, you will be directing those who help you complete your project. You may need to demonstrate how to do certain tasks, but your main role will be director and supervisor. Good luck!

Build a website for a local charity and find a local provider to host it for free. Work with them to come up with a cool domain name, logo. If you don't know how to build a website, take a class at the local community college and make the site your semester project. This way you learn a skill, and give back to the community.

Pick your favorite non-profit or charitable organization and give them acall. This project is supposed to be about your leadership, but they will probably have some needs that you could help fill. check out this site for a long list of ideas others have done. http://www.eaglescout.org/project/select.html

1) You could voluteer to deliver items from a food pantry to a homeless shelter or even around the neighborhood to less fortunate families.
2) You could volunteer your time to a animal shelter
3) You could do some landscaping for a retirement village or nursing home.
4) do an adopt-a-highway project.
These are just a few.
