i honestly think it's the little things that matter...especially if you're worried about being sappy. instead of taking her to an expensive restaurant, cook her a nice dinner youself, add some candles and she wont mind how bad it tastes(j/k). but really, i would melt when my ex left me simple love noted on my car or made me soup when i was sick...when you do sweet little stuff like that, it makes girls feel like they're the only one in the world.
