There's this girl (who is a friend of my cousins), she likes me a lot. i kind of like her... but i'm somewhat in pain from my past relationship and have a few "fears". She seems really nice and she is beautiful. my cousin tells me that i should.... i'm more worried that i'll feel and be different around her because of my past relationship. she said she wants to get to know me.... what should i do????

i think you should try... your probably still scared about what happens w/ your old GF, it good to date just to date, git out & take you mind off thing w/ all the junk going on w/ you, you'll really need to have a distraction from all this stuff (hey look @ that... distraction... angels & airwaves) so yes plz try it!

give yourself time to heal and get over mariah. if the girl really likes you then she will understand and wait because there is nothing worse than entering a realtionship with lingering feelings for a girl and trying to deveolp new ones for another girl. everything becomes a tad bit too complicated.understand this girl will not be like mariah but that will have its pros and cons. true it will be hard to trust this new girl or even like her as much because of ur ex but just learn to adapt yourself to this new personality. time is key. and heyy there is no harm in getting to know her, just wait till you know her before you make any judgements or decisions. (i had to write this down pecause i'd proably forget to tell you tomorrow)

I think that if u like her too then u should give her a chance. She isnt going to be and she isnt like ur past relationship. u should try to forget about ur past and try to have fun with this girl but not like that and get to know her too!!!!
