Yes that is what he is saying.first remember that god consist of the holy spirit, the father, and the son.in the old testament, people had to pray and fast and be cover in incense just to enter"the holy of hollies" where god's presence was.they had to sacrifice animals and all those things b/c of their sin.the incense covered up the smell of sin b/c the bible says the sin stinks in the nostrils of god. but when Jesus and the holy spirit came he was that sacrifice.so they no longer needed to sacrifice animals. and the holy spirit was/is our interceder.it is through him we speak directly to god b/c of our sin we are not capable of having that direct contact with god. Jesus Christ is through whom our salvation is built upon.for example, some Jews are still waiting for the first resurrection b/c they believe that Jesus was a great prophet and not the messiah. but if they do not believe in Jesus they do not have god.if you do not except Jesus you truly do not except god.then you do not have the holy spirit.so therefore you have nothing.for the bible saying that there are three that bear record in heaven the father, the son,and the holy spirit.it also says that there is no other name given among men by which you must be saved.and that name is Jesus Christ

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

He also said that he who loves Him will be loved by His Father, which we all know is God, right? Honestly, if you love and believe in Christ, He will put in a good word for you to His Father. I love and believe in Them both, because to me They are as One. I can't love and believe in one and not the other. The one thing when it comes to reading the Bible, you really have to understand what is being said, because if not, things are taken the wrong way and confusion develops. I suggest reading a KJV study bible. There are many, but I have the Nelson's KJV study bible, and for each chapter and verse, it tells you what they all mean. I also have the inspirational study bible by Max Lucado which is also a KJV. That one has everything that the bible has in it and also information about lessons in life to help you understand things in life much better.

Jesus is fully God as the son just as the father is fully God as is the Holy Spirit fully God. Yes, Jesus is the ONLY way to the father, by his Gift of salvation. You also can not earn your way to God.

You said correctly yourself. So why ask the question when in fact you just wrote the answer. Believe in the scriptures and trust in the word of God.

Yes! No one will enter Heaven without accepting him as the savior ( his death is the price that must be paid for sin). You can not do GOOD things and be nice and enter heaven because it doesn't make up for the sins you have committed. He is the ONLY way.
