The question has some holes.
Obviously you would hand over the money to the robber and when he was caught later the argument was great...but the application, trying to tie in the God thing is where you miss a lot of knowledge, if you are a Christian, in the Bible about God.
God does not force any one to worship him, you have free will here, this makes us different from the animals they have instincts our creator gave them.
When you make a choice to worship God that makes him happy.
Something he can show Satan see here is another that chose to serve me.
There is no burning Hell, that is a scare tactic that was started long ago by the catholic church. Look into a good cross ref. Bible you will find Hell, Hades, Sheol is mankind's common grave...we go back to the dust we were made from.
Peace.......

So the robber is God, and we are the innocent victims. OKfine, what if the "innocent victim" didn't know or care what money was? Didn't know what a gun could do? I'll even be an Arminian for a bit, what if that money (faith), once given to the robber, would be exchanged for unbelievable wealth given back to our "unfortunate" victim? Our robber is now a supreme benefactor.
Applause for the robber! What a great guy, we owe him so much, and all he asked for was faith.
As for the "court", God was the robber, so we'd have to make the judge the robber's dad...
P.S. If you're a Calvinist, our victim would also be suicidal!

Here is the real kicker: There is no hell. Nowhere in the Bible is Hell ever mentioned or taught.
Note #2: When the armed robber tried to rob you, the money was yours. The life we have been given, however, never belonged to us. It was an inheritance from God. We must, therefore, answer to God for how we use our inheritance.
We are also dependent on our Heavenly Father for life. We, as a human race, are currently far removed from directly receiving God's blessing to continue to live. Much like plants need sunlight to continue to survive, we need our Father's direct blessing to continue life. Since our original parents chose to depose themselves from this blessing, we are currently as plants in a dark room, temporarily surviving until the time comes for God to directly bestow his blessing upon those who have made the choice to worship him.

If a robber put a gun to my head, I would give him my money because I value my life more than possesions, I don't care, what the court, afterwards, would rule.
But say someone put a gun to my head (if I had the power), and said, make the most horrendous weapon there ever was, I'd say,
You might as well go ahead and pull the trigger.

An infinite punishment is meant for finite people because they (you) commit an infinite crime, not accepting God's gift of eternal life! It IS your choice, but you think it's a stick-up. Heaven or Hell. It's a matter of bowing to the King of the universe.

I dont see it as a penalty. It's information freely given. If you choose Him you go to heaven If you don't choose Him you go to hell. Sucks but simple. Unless you don't believe. I choose God because I love Him. Heaven is just a benefit. But just because that's what i believe doesn't mean I'm right. We'll find out i guess...

In both cases you had a choice , you can choose the right one or the wrong one.
Was your life worth more than $100
Is your soul worth more than an eternity in hell ?
I choose to be faithful to my wife because I love her , even though the neighbor is a hot redhead , but its my choice.

what crack smoking christian told u that?lol. If a repeated killer cant quit killing,,,Id rather loose one evil life than two innocents. Tempatation created sin,,Christans follow the holy bible,(beleive jesus is gods son),in the begining eve was talked into doing wrong,(by the serpant),and she talked adam into it,,, God questioned Adam and adam lied to God.and yes then they were punished. They were banned from the garden. When God ask adam ,,he lied,,so he did a double wammy. It seemed the start of the curse for man kind,,banned from their home, allowed to become sick, get old and die,(while in the garden they did not get sick, nor die) Of course Christans and other reglious beleifs differ from place to place,, Myself,,my personal beleif is,regardless of what church or religous back ground u r from, show others respect and u get it in return, every one has a bad day, that i can overlook. But some one who will endanger a child or father etc.It seems to be a sickness that should be cured..my opion.. And what if the gun went off by accident? did u save my life by getting me out of a world with so much hate? Or did u endanger my life which could cause my death because u wanted to be sum control freak who had a mental problem, which allowed u to think by endangering innocent peoples lives in situations that could be fatal, but changing ur mind at the last minute not to take that life makes u feel like a hero?Like ur saving lives. u dont have to kill some one to take their life,u can make it living hell and it wouldnt seem fit to be called a life,,if u cant enjoy living,a part of u is already dead. So 2 answer all ur questions, 1- no u didnt save my life,u tormented it caused years of therphy.. 2- dont know what kind of weird christians u spoke to,,(dont go 2 that church if they invite u) 3- God didnt create sin,,man did.(its called free will, yea,it suxs at times) 4- he did punish adam and eve, when jesus died,he said lord forgive them for they do not know-(sumthing close 2 dat)-earth shook, crack temples, sky rumbled loudly,,God was about to put da smackdown on some one. 5- not torturing someone as the same as saving??-dont beleive in torturing people,2 cruel. Hope that answered sum ur questions.Of course thats my opions and others will have theirs. Take care.

Excellent point. It isn't much of a choice if you really believe and hare successfully terrified of being sent to hell.
If you aren't afraid of hell, then you can worship God because you are into human sacrifice and cannibal rituals.

You can't worship God out of fear of going to Hell because then you aren't worshiping him with your whole heart.God is also a God of love a God who heals and a God who forgives. People worship him because they love him. In the Old Testament they worshiped him out of fear. But Jesus came to die for our sins. So we can just worship God out of his love for us. It's hard to explain to a non believer. No matter what I say you'll think it's stupid.
