Apparently there are allot of people who either cant read or would love to make American troops and their families as miserable as themselves.
As for your question.
A great 40 era song that is moving and was quite popular was 'We'll meet again' sung by Vera Lynn, it is very sentimental and yet very positive.
Or if you want something a little more romantic there is 'A kiss to build a dream on'(not 100% sure of the title) sung by Louis Armstrong.
I hope that helps, As the son of a wounded vet (he was the pilot and sole survivor of his medi-vac helicopter that was shot down while carrying wounded troops to safety during Vietnam) I wish you the best of luck raising that money. You probably want to avoid some of the people who answered this question thought, I have a feeling they would rather let the wounded suffer and die, just so they can feel morally superior.

"Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die" by Country Joe Mac Donald and The Fish. Written during the 60's and performed at Woodstock. It's a song about Viet Nam but could apply to Iraqi Freedom.

regrettably, i'm questioning they (our contemporary & former leaders) are all tousled! i understand no uncomplicated answer yet we purely won't be able to play by using the "regulations" anymore whilst no person else does & it particularly is what gets our butts kicked. we start to do something & do no longer end it. i think of the United countries stinks! they are all corrupt & it particularly is time for the ordinary guy or woman to be waiting to be interior the management seat. somebody without connection to grease, or somebody no longer seeking to kick butt to make dad sense greater suited. We do & will constantly would desire to stay steps previous to the nut case terrorists & shield our land & human beings. The commerce towers substitute into an act of conflict so we did have the region to preserve ourself. It substitute into no longer "anticipation of self-protection"!

I'll be home for Christmas
You can count on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree
Christmas eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
Christmas eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
If only in my dreams...
