Health food store. Buy liquid "Chlorophyll". It is good for bad breath; body odor; foot odor; you name it!
Good tasting, too. Only 1 spoonful daily. Very healing to body, as well.

1.He could brush his teeth three times a day at least.
2.Also, he could brush his tongue when he brushes his teeth. It scrapes off the cells that stink.
3.If that doesn´t help, try breath mints and mint flavored gum.
4.If he notices that he has bad breath, the best thing to do is to cover your hand in front of your face and don´t go near people.
5.Have him always carry a tin of mints around in case he has a bad breath attack.
6. Situations to avoid: I´ve found out that when I´m really really hungry, my breath starts to stink. Also in the morning when your friend gets up, he should brush his teeth if he´s not going to have breakfast immediately. It saves a whole day´s work.
7. If it´s still really bad, tell him to try to avoid garlic ;)
Good luck.

Start flossing everyday and using a prebush rinse like Listerine. Also use an alcohol free mouthwash after brushing. It may be that your friend has acid reflux or and esophageal problem.

first go to the dentist and get a cleaning, most odor comes from the build up of plaque and calculus. Also tongue brushing and Listerine twice a day will definitely help.

ENRIQUE,
BUENO, CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT BAD BREATH IS ONLY CAUSED BY AN AVERAGE OF 15-20% OF PROBLEMS IN THE MOUTH, THE OTHER CAUSES OF BAD BREATH ARE FROM MEDICATIONS, DIET,DRY-MOUTH AND SYSTEMIC PROBLEMS.THESE HAVE TO FIRST BE RESOLVED BEFORE THE MOUTH ITSELF CAN BE ADDRESSED.
