Yoga's great. :)

I'm not sure if you can lose weight...you probably can. But I think everyone should do it whether or not you can lose weight from it. It definitely helps with flexibility and developing core muscles. Plus, it's peaceful and relaxing also.

Join a gym--they probably offer classes. If you can't do that, maybe get a tape or a book.

loved my yoga class, i'm already really flexible but it helped me build muscle. there is a great book at barnes and noble called Hatha Yoga that explains all the positions and the benefits of them, but i would suggest finding a yoga studio a little pricier than a gym, but there will be more individual attention and hopefully the instructor will be knowledgeable which you can't always expect from large gyms.

I have been doing it since 12. Bikrams yoga is great for losing weight and he started doing it at age 5. See bottom of this webpage for more on this plus info on his book.
