I was saying Hi to them in an event. Few of the those women and men were acting snobby toward me because I was giving good attention to other kids and I am a fine Latina with good heart. Are they disliking of my race or of their beliefs with certain interaction?

maybe they dislike the fact you can't speak english properly

just because someone is jewish doesn't mean they're snobby. there are plenty of snobs out there and jews are only 4% of the population!

you are calling them racist when YOU are the racist one honey! maybe they just didn't even notice you...but you sure noticed they were *JEWS* and are pointing that out here.

You are classifying a group of people based on a single interaction. Jewish people are not stuck up, they are cautious with their children, just like anyone else is. They obviously didn;t know you. In the world we live in today where many are horrible to the Jewish, they have reason to be extremely cautious. Remember that God says that those who bless his people, the Jewish, will be blessed, those that curse them will also be cursed. Food for thought. I am a Christian whose son is latino, I make no statement on racial prejudice.

I wouldnt attribute their behavior to the fact that they are Jewish. I'm a Christian and I work around alot of Jewish people and they react to me like anyone else. Sounds like you came across a couple of rude people.

Can't say... but if it is racism, it says more about 'them' than you... but... I have to ask if some of it was self-consciousness on your part, or perhaps you misinterpreted some of what was happening. A lot of people are nervous when strangers pay attention to their kids, can't say I blame them.

Sometimes it's how they come across , a little snobby, but really they're great people, no pretenses, sometimes it takes a little time to get to know each other.

Maybe the ones you talked to are just snobs. I email correspond with a rabbi and SHE seems very nice!
