is there any healthy snacks a 12 1/2 year old can have after school or after dinner and also is easy mac and top raman soup a good choice to eat?

try celery with peanut butter, or have some carrots with fat-free ranch dip ready in the refridgerator. Even a 1/4 cup of almonds or some dry whole-grain cereal would be good. By all means, stay away from the easy mac and raman soup! Sodium overboard! try whole-wheat pasta with fat-free butter or a tomato sauce instead.

top raman is FULL of salt, easy mac isn't the best, but there are a lot worse. Apples and Peanut butter. A light sandwich, popcorn, esp air popped, not the stuff that is heavy on butter and salt. carrot sticks (baby carrots) fruit. Cereal, that is not coated in sugar.

No, please no Easy-Mac or raman. The fat in the mac n'cheese is outrageous, and the raman is several times his daily allowance (2000mg? I think.)

Teach him to eat well now. Discover fruit. I'll take a Clementine or a Fuji apple over a candy bar any day.

Always on the list would be fruit or veges with dip, lots of sodium in the processed foods, or go with a bowl of fiber brand cereal and that is a guarantee to fill up and hold awhile.
