The Germans in Nazi Germany were certainly obedient to Hitler, but that certainly didn't make them 'good'! - quite the contrary. It was those Germans who REFUSED to obey orders who were good people! And the same holds true no matter who is giving the orders... even the greatest and highest authority cannot make a evil order a good one, nor can such an authority make a good act evil by forbidding it...

We don't confuse obedience with goodness. It is what we are obedient to, that determines it's goodness.

Being obedient to God is the ultimate good. Everything else must be weighed against that.

We cannot be obedient to an employer who makes us lie, cheat or steal as a condition of employment, for example.

You haven't read Genesis, Where Joseph was sold by his brothers to slavery. At the end, when Joseph was second in command in Egypt, he said to his brother, "You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good." Read!

Why not just use the words "right and wrong".. would surely simplify your understanding.
