I'm still waiting. The last request I made of God is right now a story without an ending.
A few prayers of mine have been answered.
But when it's something huge, the waiting is the toughest
part of it.
When the answer looks like it's No, grief and despair set in.
I'm still clinging to the words of Jesus, and the desire for all my loved ones to be allowed into heaven. I have too many loved ones, and the thought of one of them not
being there is too painful. So my belief is sort of selfish.
David said of Our Lord, But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him. old testament, 2 Samuel 15: 26.
It does no good to argue from weakness.
God is after all omnipotent.

Congratulations, I'm so happy that HE chose to grant your request. Sometimes his answer is No.BUT the most amazing answered prayers I've witnessed were the ones prayed by my daughter when she was 4.
Her Father & step mom had split up and were living seperatly. One night she was at my Dad's house and she waited for her G'pa to come home from his 2nd shift job. She asked him to pray with her (G'pa is a very zealous Christian) " She prayed " Oh GOD my family is BROKEN! Could you please fix it?" She made her G'pa weep as he praye d beside her. A week later my ex and his wife reconsiled thier differences.
A few moths later she was in the store w/ her Stepmom when she baught a pregnancy test. My daughter bursts out " I know what that is! I saw it on TV" and she stops right there in the store, clasps her little hands and bows her head, " Dear God Please I want a little sister"
Nine moths later, her sister was born.
Answered prayers are a beautiful thing. My daughter is now 9 and because of God hearing her prayers and blessing her faith in HIS goodness , her faith has grown ten fold. She has the most amazing reationship w/ her "Daddy God". You know what they say about the faith of a child....
GOD BLESS

When I went to my OB appointment for the last time I was 37 weeks pregnant and I had spent the whole week praying for my baby to be ready on that day and sure enough my doctor decided to induce me. Then before he had the chance I went into labor. So I believe that yes you can pray hard and get things, but not for things God doesn't feel you need

Oh yes, and ignore the nay-sayers, they don't get it. They don't understand that God answers the prayers of His Children.
God has answered many of my prayers and I am still waiting for more than a few. He does it in His time and He must have been in a hurry for you d:O)
"For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."

It's called a coincidence. If you pray to any random entity about enough random things, it will eventually be answered.
Try praying to Jesus for two years, Allah the next two, Krishna the two after that, and a milk carton the two after that and see if there is any difference.

Yes, I asked for strength through this interview today and I nailed it. It may have been the best interview I ever went to, all I had to do ask and I knew the lord would provide it for me.
