How does your hair grow faster by trimming it regularly when your hair grows from the roots?

Well i just came from the hair dresser and i got my hair cut and my hair dresser told me my hair would grow faster and i didn't understand it either, but now i do. When you get your hair cut even you hair grows twice as long because you cut all those dead ends off. As long as you keep cutting the dead ends off your hair will continue to grow. Hope i helped you!

Thats a myth. The hair at the end (that you cut off) is actually dead, so it makes no difference to the rate your hair grows at or the thickness. Having it trimmed stops the splits from working further up the hair shaft, so you save yourself from having to get a lot more cut off later. If you get your hair cut every six weeks there is not much chance of growing it longer. To do that you have to really persevere and look after your hair until iit grows.

well i have been told the even though your hair dose grow from the roots wen you cut the hair or trim it, it helps the hair to grow more evenly instead or split ends that break off your hair and make you hair look abd but trimming it is like cutting off the old and giving the hair a new fresh start to grow but also greasing and oiling the hair is important also......good luck hope u find your answer!!!!!!!!!!! Because you have no split ends, so your hair is healtheir, and able to grow faster.

it doesnt, really, but trimming it will prevent dry, split ends, which will break off and/or split more if left,,,,
