I am moving to New York from Las Vegas, NV. I will be bringing either two dogs or a cat and a dog. Do you know how much that is?? Also, the dog is only 3 pounds...could she sit with me on the plane?

That really depends on the airline, as they have their own individual policies. I know that JetBlue will allow you to take one small cat or dog, but it has to fit in a carrier under your seat, and be able to move around freely. They have carriers for use, or you can use your own. There is usually a fee, though, to take a pet on board. Jet Blue charges $50 each way. You'll have to check with individual airlines to find out the details of what they'll allow.

I dont know how much it costs to fly a dog/cat. I usually fly a plane! Sorry, I coudnt resist. Its up to the airlines. For instance Continental charges $95.00 The pet carrier will need to fit under the seat, which shouldnt be a problem for a 3 lb dog. The maximum dimensions of the kennel are Maximum dimensions are: 22" L x 14" W x 9" H .This will take the place of the carry on bag. The dog will have to stay in the carrier during the flight. If you want the animals in the cabin, you will only be able to bring one, unless another person is flying with you.

I work as a ticket agent at an airport...
We charge $50 for an animal. The animal must be in a pet carrier or bag (like a sports bag) and be able to fit under the seat. We don't transport animals in the cargo area. Also, I'm not sure if we allow more than one pet for each ticketed passenger.
All airlines are different. The best bet is to ask the airline you are travelling with or pick one with requirements that suit your needs. The airlines' websites should have all the necessary info.

It basically depends on your airline. Most airlines will allow two pets per passanger in the cabin. The maximum weight of your pets (each one) can be up to 8 kgs, again depending on airline regulations. Important: Tell the airline about the pets when you are booking the flight. Some airlines will ask for a health certificates and charge you the weight of the pets as extra luggage. You will also need carriers that fit the regulations of your airline.

I highly recommend to take your animals in the cabin - it is an easy and pet friendly solution. Please do not put your pets in cargo. You will have no access to them if the flight is delayed and you have no control how they are treated. In the cabin is easy and the best for pets and owners. All the very best!

verify inclusive of your airline early on, because there are in effortless words a restricted style of slots for puppy shipping on each and every flight. There are also guidelines about length of service and well being criteria, and each and every airline would have diverse guidelines, so the perfect archives you receives will be from the airline you're planning to go back and forth on. you'll likely favor to get a certificates of well being out of your vet, and which will require updating pictures if needed and a checkup interior a particular era earlier the flight. It value me $80 to fly my cat with me contained in the cabin, yet that develop into 4 years in the past, and that i imagine that, like each and everything else, has lengthy gone way up. sturdy success!

NWA costs $80 for "pet in cabin" . $139 is minimum if they ride under neath. There are temp restrictions if they ride underneath...it can;t be below 15 degrees in either the departure, connection , or arrival city . Only one "pet in cabin " is allowed per passenger, and only a certain amount are allowed per flight so reserve early. NWA no longer reqires health certificates for domestic travel.
