Why did God assign angels to record the deeds of humans? Why couldn't He have done it himself? Why did He create angels to intervene in nature at God's will? Couldn't God do the intervening Himself?

What is really so different about God creating angels, and saying that God created other lesser gods? He could have said don't worship the other gods, they are all under My command and not worthy of worship. What does it really matter whether you call them "gods" or "angels"?

I'm not trying to start a fight, by the way. I'm just trying to learn the Islamic perspective on Angels.
Christians and Jews and whoever else may answer too from the perspective of your own religion, if you'd like.

God has already written everything - on a 'Tablet', with 'The Pen' -that will happen from the very instant He began to create things (the Pen was the first thing) til the Day of Judgement.

Even if the angels did not write our deeds - and even if God Himself didnt already do so at the very beginning of creation- God assigned the angels to record the deeds of humans as evidence against us when we're being judged. It's like having a video tape of you steeling, but instead, it's a book of deeds. It will be undeniable proof, and you will be asked to read from it so that no one may be wronged or complain. There are people who will be stupid enough to lie in front of God and deny the claims made in the book of deeds; consequently, their own hands, feet, eyes will testify against them.

Maybe you were wondering: why not have a book write by itself the deeds, without the use of angels? The angels - in our case the 2 angels overlooking our actions - are 2 more beings God created, showing His power; 2 more beings that worship Him obediently and are in awe of Him. Why not create them when He is able to? It's not like it's hard for Him.

As for why create angels at all: all creations were created to worship God - even though God is of no need of worship. Humans and jinn however are tested on earth with the free will they were given; whereas the function of angels is to worship/glorify/praise and obey God non-stop. It is in their nature to be like this. They also have other functions: some angels ask forgiveness for the people disoebying God; others curse them; some angels are in charge of Hell, others of Holding God's throne; others to comfort people about going to Heaven... Angels in the end are part of "those that are on God's side". The fact that they're probably even more numerous than humans and that their unbelievably strong - and yet afraid of God and obedient - shows you how good always overcomes evil, God's unlimited powers in creating noble beings, God's Majesty....

You can't call angels gods for the same reason that you cant call a table a chair: because tables aren't chairs. Only God is worthy of being labelled as a god - if that makes any sense. Besides why confuse people with calling angels "gods". There is/was enough problem as it is with people worshipping false gods/objects/deities/angels/jinn/humans with no one else being called a god except God. God already ordered us not to worship angels, and yet there were some - in the olden days - who have worshipped them: why would He want to confuse us and call them gods as well?

As for angels intervening in nature at God's will, i dont know what you're talking about or maybe I misunderstood your question. In the end, we are all tools that achieve God's will. So whether let's say God turns your furniture into gold by a miracle, or sends you someone to give you free money, in the end, you're getting richer because God wants you to. So He IS intervening in both ways.

Allah SWT created the Angels and Jinn and Mankind. Angels from the light, Jinn from the Fire and Mankind from the mud (earth). Angels are everywhere, even in our house and on our right and left shoulder and they record every deed (right deeds on the right shoulder and bad deeds on the left shoulder). And only Allah SWT has the right to be worshipped. Also, Allah sent his Angels to the Prophets. This is one of the major tasks. The other tasks of other Angels include sounding the Horn for the Day of Judgement, escort Prophet Jesus down from the Heavens to get rid of Dajjal and many other great things:)

Because the angels write down your good deeds and bad deeds. There is one angel on your right shoulder who records all good deeds you have done and one angel on the left shoulder who records all your bad deeds. Once your dead and when judgment day arrives all souls will rise to allah and he will look at your list of deeds to determine whether you go to heaven or hell. For every person there are 2 angels.

God created angels previously he created the universe. It would not say how long previously yet they have been alive previously the universe replaced into made. Angels did no longer continuously existed with God once you communicate that he's the author of each and every and each little thing so they'd have been created by using utilising God.

Look at the OT and you see the progress from henotheism to monotheism. Originally the angels were indeed "gods," the gods of the heavenly court surrounding the "Most High God," Yahweh.

"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are achildren of the most High." Ps 82:6

It doesn't really matter what you call them. There is a hierarchy of spiritual beings between us and God.

Angels was created by god from light, satan from fire and human from mud (earth)..angel has completely diference from us,has no disire, no need to consume food like us, this creature was created specialy to carried out the task of god, they have no choice in theirs duty to the god, and the most obedient 'servant' ever created for example Angel Riduan the keeper of paradise, Angel Malek, the keeper of hell and they never died until the day of judgement..but human is so special , god gave us the brain to think which one is right and which one is wrong, but most people chose the later...and fogot theirs creator..subhanallah.

Because God is God and He does as He pleases. If He wanted you to know, He would've told you. Point is, don't worry so much about angels and focus more on your relationship with Him.

Every time I come home, even if it's empty, I say the words of greeting because I know that angels are inside. Isn't it beautiful to know that the God is so merciful that He sends His creatures of light to be with us?

Allah has created Angels to worship Him, to carry out His commands and to be His messengers to His Prophets.
One of the angels is Gabriel who used to bring down Revelation to our Prophet Muhammad 'Alayhis-Salatu was-Salamu (peace be upon him).
Another Angel is Michael who is in charge of rain falling.
A third one is the "Angel of Death" who is in charge of taking the souls of people whose death is due.
Angels are but servants honored by Allah.
Hence we honor them and speak of them respectfully.
But we worship none of them, nor do we take them as Allah's sons or daughters (as infidels claim).
We worship only Allah who created them in this wonderful kind of creation.
Allah (Glory be to Him) says: "And they say: The Most Gracious has begotten a son, Glory be to Him! They are but servants raised to honor. They do not speak before He speaks, and they act (in all things) by His command. He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they offer no intercession except for those whom He accepted, and they stand in awe and reverence of Him. If any of them should say, ‘I am a God besides Him’, such one We should reward with Hell. Thus do We reward those who do wrong”. [The Qur’an 21:26-29]
