I have girls that tell me that I'm cool , funny, and a good listener, but when I go to ask them out they turn me down!?
What's the deal?
Also what do girls look for in a guy, besides the ones I mentioned already?

When a girl looks for a guy, she looks for what good qualities they have. Such as: is he smarter then me? Is he fun? Strong? Sweet? Sensitive? Romantic?
A girl wants a guy who she can lean on when shes weak, who she knows will be there for her through thick and thin. A guy who can stand up for her in any way. A guy who can make her smile when she's down. Someone who she can trust and tell all her dreams and thoughts to. Someone who doesn't care if she doesn't dress up and have to wear makeup in front of him all the time. A guy who gives her the butterflies every time he's even near. A guy who can melt her heart with his words of affection. A guy who makes her weak in the knees when he shows how much he cares.
And most of all, a guy who loves her and appreciates her for who she is.
Those kind of things. =)

I'm attracted to
physically attractive, subjective to some degree but not vain;
confident, assertive, alpha male type or
brooding, misunderstood type
is smart enough to think for himself and not follow all of society's norms.
deep voices, large hands, wide shoulders
ruggedly male with guys but gentemanly with women with a slight edge or air of mystery and danger
My advice is to
1) cultivate an activity, career or hobby, that can be a passion or vehicle of mastery for you.
2) work on being a career or financial success
3) work on your fitness and social skills

That's probably what they see you as, but that's not what they are looking for in a guy. Some girls like a smart guy who has a sense of humor. Knowing how to be romantic doesn't hurt either. But it really depends on the girl.

Nice, caring, nice smile, nice eyes, and its not cuz ur italian, italian guys are so hot, protacteve and please dont use them. a guy who is not shy and will be with her. a guy that will always call her and ry to make her feel better no matter what. well

well some girls that are...compleate something somthings they are looking for the hott dude that isn't very nice. the other ones, the ones that don't thing they are good looking, (the ones that are usally nice) like the dudes that have a good personality
