Ladies, coming off a 5 year relationship that ended rocky, how long do you recommend I wait before wading back into the dating pool?? (I'm in my 40's, with kids)

Well, I say whenever you FEEL like you are ready. You know the saying, different strokes for different folks, it might take one person, a few months, another one a few weeks, and maybe a few days, it depends on you if you are READY to get out there and do it again. But if you do, don't go looking for him, let him find you and honey, it does happen and you will reel in that great guy that is out there looking for you right now!!

i would probably give myself a year maybe less. but you can't ever escape wanting to date. say in a couple of months mr. right somes along and you just know that he is perfect. well you can't just say "no, i have to wait before i start dating again." give him a chance. go on at least one date and if it fails just give it a little more time.

it would really be up to you. But take the time to be by yourself. Do the things you want to . Dont depend on a man to be there. Given a time period, I would say at least 6 months.

when ever your ready.it might be 6 months,or might be 1 year.
when ever you feel comfortable enough .you can't set a time frame on something like that.it's not like writing a check and waiting on it to clear thru the bank.
if your ex-has moved on why not go for it ,,,it's your life.enjoy it.
