...and the verse that suggests that women should not be ministers:

Is it just me, or are the people who most adamantly come to the defense of these types of verses WOMEN?

Now, I'm mainly talking about Yahoo Answers, because I don't typically talk much about religion and spirituality in real life. And maybe it's just my observation, but whenever these verses come up in a question, I'll see female answerers saying things like "well yeah, that is the role we women have in life."

Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just me?

NOTE: I'm not talking about whether or not we should abide by these verses, either--just the people who defend them.

I'd never make it as a Christian or a Muslim. Either I'd die, or I'd be in jail. I am not putting up with any man's $hit just "because" some idiot like Creflo Dollar said so. It is not proven that God condoned such misogynous thinking.

I haven't really noticed, but in the chatrooms it's the opposite. It's usually men who use those verses... and oddly enough, most enough of them are single.

Not a quote from Christ, but from a misogynous apostlle.
