If I use Vanilla Icing Dark Blonde to color my hair and my hair is naturally dark brown what will happen?

IT MIGHT TURN YELLOWISH RED BUT I WOULD CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BOX

It will only have a very subtle highlight to it. Dark Blonde is a light brown. If you want a dramatic lighter shade use something with an ash color (dark ash blonde) so the darker parts of your hair will not turn orange!!!

Brown hair will turn orange with any blonde except straight bleach - the "ash" stops that from happening!

oo i know this i try it to my hair it will be a dark red brown that is ugly as hell i cut my hair after that

IT COULD GO ORANGE ON YOU. try cutting a sample of your hair from under the back of your head. do a color test on the sample first. this will tell you for sure what color it will be
