Does anything make less sense than Islam?

Islam is essentially a belief in a "God" who wants you to "Fight those who do not believe in Allah". Quran 9:29 http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/009.qmt.html

This savage conception of God is so ridiculous its hard to find anything more absurd.

Consider Gibsons new movie about the Mayan's and their religious beliefs. People who carved hearts out of chests and threw them to the pagan worshipers. At least this horror was limited in scope. The Mayans didnt believe that their God commanded them to fight everyone who didnt believe, they just believed he required human sacrifice.

Show me something more absurd than Islam's conception of God.

I could go on-and-on.... The point is: The Islamic conception of God is not absurd. It is a the conception of a unified monistic creator. All of the ideas above demand the mental acceptance of much higher levels of bovine scatology.

However, how Muslims have intellectually twisted this simple and elegant belief into monstrous practices is another matter. But the same could be said of Christianity.

Don't forget that in the Old Testament, God commanded the Jews to fight and KILL.
The New Testament is different in that Jesus taught Peace and Love but no war....however he warned his followers to prepare for war after he left.
Today, Muslim fanatics have contaminated the truth and only wants war and death; to be fair to the Christians today, they all seem to desire peace..Christianity has come a long way and have learned along the way. Muslim Fanatics are set in their evil ways and do not learn.

Evolution makes less sense than Islam. The scientific method is the first thing to be trashed by evolution's devotees.

Communism makes less sense than Islam. The accumulation of mankind's legal legacy based upon sound principles of justice, equity and fair play is simply ignored by the arrogant who believe they solely hold the key to all knowledge.

My faith is none - i'm an atheist and the international around me in simple terms is clever by using fact I question each and every thing and seek for out answer which at the instant are not based on the supernatural yet fairly on nature. What makes the least experience to me is that faith nonetheless exist in u.s. the place we've one in each and every of those huge knowledgeable inhabitants. i'm surprised and how lots of my fellow human beings include those primitive superstitions and disrespect technology and information. the ingredient that truly gets me is that anybody is killing one yet another over those primitive and infantile mythologies.

.. Does it make sense in Christianity if they taught you the "torah" was a curse and represents slavery ?? Does anything make sense in Christianity if they were taught a holy men and king named David send people to assisinate the husband of Queen Bathsheba after having a scandalous and adulterous relationship with her ?? To the christian, that does really make sense... At least muhammad the last prophet and the king of arabia, came with a clear message from god to cleanse the names of these holy men through the recitation of the true version of their story in the Quran.... :-)
