Define Proof....
A lot (not all) Athiests say they wont't even consider believeing until there is proof...

What is your SPECIFIC definition of proof.. What would have to happen for you to believe?

something believable, preferably undeniable but beyond reasonable doubt will do, reasonable to my mostly logical mind, and not to someone who's looking for a reason and settling for whatever's preferable to believe.
it needs to be something that cannot be explained away by coincidence or natural or supernatural phenomena of any sort other than a god, so unexplained phenomena attributable to something else does not count.
do not refer to the bible, ever. its getting irritating, and even some believers accept thats not, um, 'very reliable'.
don't go on about love and jesus saving you and do not say anything like "how can you look around you and not tell me all this life/diversity/beauty was not created by god". do not go on about "if it wasn't god, then what was it?" and don't ask what came before the big bang or tell me about never seeing a monkey turn into a man which just demonstrates lack of mental capacity or an indication that you do not know what you're talking about.
science cannot explain everything yet, and probably never will, so the evidence or proof should not rely on poking holes in science or trying to do so and then saying we should follow the other alternative which is so full of holes its like a sieve.
do not refer to personal experiences of jesus or god entering your dreams or a vision or something like that which cannot be verified and seems to indicate mental illness anyway.
also its preferable if u can show me why things are the way they are, coz i don't see how a god can exist in the way believers describe and let the world be the way it is.
avoid circular logic at all costs.

now think about it, did anyone ever give reasonable proof or evidence of a god, ever? why do people believe? because they were told to? taught to? lack of anything else to go by? because of the fear or uncertainty of what happens when they die? or maybe because they want to fell that they will be rewarded?
how many believers do you know who are not having any of those factors in their reason for believing.

i did not mean to offend anyone so don't be.
if u got proof that passes what i said, mail me.

Well, certainly not all. I don't need proof in order to believe because I am not concerned about whether there is a God or not. I'll just go on trying to be a good person and do the right thing, God or no God.

Why do non-atheists spend so much time worrying about what atheists believe or don't believe. Most of us (not all) don't care if you believe in God or not as long as you don't pester us about it.

How about a handshake from god? Maybe a hello? Even a middle finger!! Anything that doesn't put me in the position to deny my humanity for something that leaves no trace of existance other than a collection of books given to people who may have never existed- and may not have been any more trustworthy than any psycho off the street...

Why can't theists understand the difference between PROOF and EVIDENCE?!! There is no proof for God. But there is no evidence either. Just ANYTHING would be a start. And get a dictionary! Atheists do NOT demand proof!

Proof = Evidence. Any evidence.

Rational and intelligent evidence that doesn't rely on what's written in your bible (Which has no outside verification for it's validity. Aside from it's own claim that it's the word of a god.), or in questions like "If it wasn't god, then who did it?"

Ignorance evidence. I alternatively be a socrates upset than a idiot convinced. Ignorance is evaluating black and white with out a expertise of white (Plato) and I alternatively allow the scar of sour reality hang-out me without end than maintain myself in a variety of mutual passivity with different men and women and flase complacency inside myself.

They're afraid to believe anything exist, because then they'll have to answer for all the sins they have committed and that scares the crap out of them.. they don't wanna give up the life style.

I'd like to see God, not just evidence of His existence. Or perhaps something unexplainable by the laws of science.

Proof is irrefutable evidence last time I checked. It's not really a matter of "SPECIFICS."

proof is subjective - there is no way to make someone believe in something that they do not want to believe in --- i'm not atheist and I do not understand what it is you want people to believe in --- I do believe, but it probably isn't in what you want, or think, i believe in
