That is an honoured title. Also, up until the 4th century this is what many christians believed. It was at the Council of Nicea that the idea of the trinity was formulated.

'Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.' (Qur'an 5:72)

'Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them.' (Qur'an 5:73)

Allah has no prophets. He has no body. No mind. No spirit. No thoughts. Only a fake story by a pedophile loser

1. You grossly misstate the facts. If it was not until Nicea, how do so many writers during the second and third centuries talk about it?
2. Scripture itself refutes your claims:
2Peter 1:1 I, Simon Peter, am writing this letter. I serve Jesus Christ. I am his apostle. I am sending this letter to you who have received a faith as valuable as ours. You received it because our God and Savior Jesus Christ does what is right and fair for everyone.
Romans 9:5 The founders of our nation belong to them. Christ comes from their family line. He is God over all. May he always be praised! Amen.
Matt 1:23 “The virgin is going to have a baby. She will give birth to a son. And he will be called Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14) The name Immanuel means “God with us.”
John 1:1 In the beginning, the Word was already there. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Phil 2:6 In his very nature he was God. But he did not think that being equal with God was something he should hold on to. 7 Instead, he made himself nothing. He took on the very nature of a servant. He was made in human form.
Titus 2:13 That’s how we should live as we wait for the blessed hope God has given us. We are waiting for Jesus Christ to appear in all his glory. He is our great God and Savior.

So many people and so long before Nicea??? How could they know what would not be "decided" for so many years? The simple answer... it is TRUE!

Hi, I am a Christian, but I don't get angry when someone says Jesus was a prophet. In the Bible, Jesus refers to himself as a prophet.

John 4:44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.

Jesus is the Son of God.

John 10:30 I and [my] Father are one.

Jesus is Lord and Saviour.

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour -Doug

For the same reason it angers you when we Christians declare that Muhammad was no prophet at all, but a self-proclaimed deceiver of mankind. IN FACT, NO HUMAN BEING WHO EVER LIVED - has angered the Lord God so much as this man Muhammed from the deserts of Arabia - who is guilty of causing billions of people to lose their eternal salvation in Jesus Christ through Islam's false teaching which led humanity astray to follow a lie.

Our religion teaches us that your prophet was the FALSE PROPHET which Jesus warned us about.

" But be on guard - for after me - there will come false prophets, like wolves in sheep's clothing. And they will try to lead you astray, if possible, even the chosen ones." " But I have told you all things in advance."

From the very beginning, we Christians believed in the divinity of Jesus - the councils simply codified and recorded what was already believed.

Jesus promised us: " unto him who conquers, he shall have this heritage - I will be his God & he shall be my son."

prophet Isaiah declares: "and He shall be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting father, prince of peace.....

" Whosoever believeth not on the Son is condemned."

there is no god but Allah - and Jesus is the Son of God.!!!!

The Muslims also say: "There are Hadiths (Islamic traditions attributed to Mohammed) regarding our struggle against the Jews. And it is given: 'The day of resurrection will not arrive until the Muslims make war against the Jews and kill them, and until a Jew hiding behind a rock and tree, and the rock and tree will say: 'Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!' This Hadith clarifies to us the characteristics of the campaign between us and the Jews. The tree and the rock do not say 'Oh, Palestinian,' 'Oh Arab,' or 'Oh resident of the Middle East.' Rather they say: 'Oh, Muslim, Servant of Allah.'" (Palestinian TV, March 30, 2001)

And so, those radicals must be stopped at all costs. They wish to Islamize the western world and will stop at nothing, including murder of innocent men, women and children.

Why should anyone be angered? Jesus was the greatest prophet that ever lived. He was the one that all prophets fortold. Jesus was the one who was to come. The redeemer and savior of all humankind.
To be a prophet is to be a chosen one of God.

It doesn't anger us. He was a prophet. But Muslims want to leave it at that. Jesus was God in the flesh, and that is born out in The Bible, our Holy Book.
