Be yourself. Let them meet the person that you are. Also pay attention to what's being discussed and join the conversation if you'd like to. Ask if his parents should need help with anything,,,,like dishes, setting the table if you're going to have a meal,,,,clean up afterwards. Make eye contact and smile. Be confident. But most of all try to be as comfortable as you can in your surroundings.

I'm flying to England to meet my b/f's parents LOL Imagine how nervous I am. haha I'd say just be yourself and bring a small gift (maybe chocolates or an ornament since it's Christmastime). but don't talk too much! This is just what I would do, Make sure you look nice at all times! Think about your answers before you answer their questions. Hope this helps! :)

Well, I would say to be yourself, but, also, be presentable. If you go there dressing like a bum, they are going to take that first impression of you. And, even if you are a nice girl, the way you presented yourself to them is going to be a lasting one.
So, dress nice. Smile. Say "Hi, hello, how are you doing?'
Also, "How was your day today?" Things like that.
If you are having dinner, ask if they need help serving or if they need help clearing the table or washing the dishes. (Some people would love the offer and say yes, or say no for either they would like to do it themselves and do not want to bother or because there are people who do not want half-washed dishes.)

Being honest with them will show you respect them. If you feel you have nothing to talk about, ask them about your boyfriends childhood and how he was when he was growing up.
