First off, thank you for not butchering words completely like most kids do. I really like being able to read what people write. lol. yay for you!
11... gosh... that is a good time for first crushes. If you like someone and they like you... sure you can call each other 'boyfriend/girlfriend', but the most you should do is hold hands and maybe a kiss...maybe.
You're too young yet to go on any true dates, because you have no means of getting yourself place to place. Watch movies in the family room that should suffice.
I remember 11...not too long ago. But the next 5-6 years or so everything changes and you don't want to regret things you've done before you're even a teenager.
I remember my friends and I getting notes from boys and giggling about them in our rooms when we were 11. My first major crush was when I was 11. Gosh that was scary. I'm still friends with the kid. He never knew I liked him all those years ago. Now I have a wonderful boyfriend and I am certainly glad I had the opportunity to get to know him with out worrying about a crush I had in elementary school.
Give it time. Stick to notes and a few dates in your living room. Go ahead call each other bf/gf, but please don't take it far.
I promise you things change in middle school and high school.
(plus... guys get cuter as they get older ^_^ )
Good luck and have patience! ^_^

You are not too young, but ......
1. Get a mobile phone and put 911 on speed dial.
2. Do not drink anything that you did not open yourself.
3. Do not do anything that you feel uncomfortable doing.
4. Make sure the someone you like is about your same age.
5. Look at number 4 again.
6. Enjoy and be CAREFULL.
7. Look at number 4 again.

well i cant talk because my first boyfriend was in in first grade. so there is never really a permanent age to start having a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. it really depends. yes you are to young to have a serious relationship. one that is committed. too young for that. if you mean hanging on the weekened, chillin at the movies(with mom in the back) lol. it just depends on what you want out of the relationship. if you want to be his girlfriend, make sure thingsgo very slow. dont let it get to your head. concentrate on your work and then when school is over call and say hey how you doin and be that way but when school and it comes down to getting your work done you must focus. so it really depends.

I think that is a young age to want to start dating but you should just be a kid and not worry about someone cheating on you and stuff like till you are a little older to handle situations like that. Just enjoy being an 11-year old!!

You certainly aren't old enough to understand and cope with the feelings associated with being in love with someone. I guess it depends on what your definition of a boyfriend is. Overall, I think you may be too young. Having a boyfriend/girlfriend isn't hardly all that it's cracked up to be, trust me. Enjoy your freedom while you're still able to.

You're not too young to have boys and girls as friends. But too young for an exclusive boyfriend, you really do have time, go out in groups and wait until you're 15 or 16 before you decide to go "steady".

I think 11 is way too young. If you start that young, you are much more likely to make adult decisions before you are ready to handle them.
I think 14 is good for starting to date, but nothing very serious until you are a little older.

Whoa whats with all these 9, 10 crap. You shouldn't have a boyfriend at your age. Boys as friends yes, but boyfriends-definately not. Why are these girls in such a hurry to grow up? They are the ones in high school looking for daycare and working at Jack in the Box. Learn about who you are and discover who you want to be in life before you worry about silly boyz.
