My best friend is coming home from the air force for christmas and for a month. Also, we have thought of dating but not till she gets out of the air force. What should I get her for christmas? Haven't seen her in 8 months so I'm not sure what to get her.

If she is your best friend, it should be easy. Think of what she likes, her favourite music group or movie. Or you can make it more personal and by her a necklace that she can wear even after she leaves.

If you really have feelings for her, then you should get her something that represent your feelings to her.
Get her somethings that has diamonds in it, or something that she is really into. I say you should also give her more than 1 present, and something that would calm her down from all the stress she's been through on the air force.

oh, and you should take a pic. every time you guys are having fun, so that she would have a whole picture book of great memories.
Also, take her outside in the night and tell her that every star she sees represents how much you love her, that way where ever she is she would look up the sky and see the stars, and she would always remember you.=]=]

The law says Air Force women have to be treated like men, so I'd go the other way and give her girl things like flowers and chocolate. You may want to add some frilly things like a night gown for her to take back with her. Open doors for her, but don't order for her without first asking what she wants to eat.

Take her out to a really nice and tasty restaurant. She's probaly been use to military food and fast food on base. Then take her to build a bear workshop and the 2 of you will build cute and cuddly bears that will remind you of each other during your abscences. Tell her everyfiber that the bear is stuffed with represents an ounce of your love for her. love is love platonic or not you still care and love her as a being. that everytime she hugs it or sleeps with it it's like your there having fun as usual. if you pay extra iyou can get sound put into it.

How about some photos of you guys in a collage frame? Or a movie that you watched together and really enjoyed. Something that she can take back with her that will make her remember a good time the two of you had together.

Take her to a nice fine dining that has nice entertainment, a show , jazz and precious gift of album filled with memorable pictures of two of you as friendship. It is called a scrapbook.
Don't forget to dance with her maybe she will think the whole picture of falling in love with you .
