You can use XP to burn your music on CD.
XP comes with an old version of Roxio.

To burn a CD . Insert a CD first > right click on the song
and send it to the CD drive. A pop up will show up and ask you to burn them.

Now If I am not totally mistaken I think Media Player 9 or 10 of MIcrosoft comes with a free CD burner. Go to Mediaplayer and check their tools on the left inside.

Now Nero7 which I think is the best CD or DVD burner has 1 month free trial. You can download it from here.

Good luck,

Joe.

You can use limewire to download music or you can go to singingfish.com and search for songs then get the url and put it into your browser and it will prompt you to save or you can download flashget and use that as your download manager to download music off the net. Once you download the songs add them to wmp and burn to a cd-r. I can make a vid tutorial and upload it to youtube then you can watch the process of downloading and burning. Just pm if you have any questions what I just said.
