Antonio Del Fuentes, invented the prime cigar in the year of our Lord 1494, when he rolled a tobacco leaf into a tight cone, lighted one end with a coal from the camp fire and took a mighty inhale and puff.
This was during the second voyage of Columbus to theNew World and this occured on the Isle of Cuba.
Fuentes descendents are still rolling and selling cigars.
