We all have our vulnerable side, but is it okay for a man to express it in front of his GF? What do the women think? Would it embarrass you if your BF cried at a movie, concert, etc.? Would you think any less of him? And how do the guys feel about it?

I think it's OK. Guys act so emotionless most of the time. It's nice to know that they have feelings sometimes. As long as it's not often and for a good reason I welcome it. Just not too much... girls have enough emotions most of the time. I would not think less of him. I would think even more of him, because it gives us another level to connect on.

I don't see a problem here. Hopefully she will cry too. It's emotional and it's crazy to leave someone you love for 2 years. Just try not to sob - manly tears, shed a few. Leave the balling like a girl watching The Notebook for your car. It is acceptable to cry though and she shouldn't think any less of you.

My experience has been that most women like sensitive guys, but sensitive doesn't=whimp. You can be a man and still be sensitive and show your emotions. The first time I did cry in front of a GF I was pretty embarrassed, but surprised how supportive she was. The few times I've done it since then, women have really seemed to appreciate it. Like someone else says, it makes us seem more human. I think women are a little more evolved in this way. Maybe 'cause society lets them.

Its perfectly fine for a man to express his feelings in front of his girlfriend--but depending why. if it was because of a movie, concert or anything else, then yes that is a bit weird!!! LOL but if you two are having problems or whatever then yeah its perfectly fine.

I think it's okay. My gf does 98% of the crying, but sometimes I find myself crying too for whatever reason and she doesn't think less of me. She loves me and wants to spend the rest of her life with me.

i wouldn't mind it if my man was strong in other ways..women don't want a p*ssy. a sensitive side to a man is very sexy to most women and being yourself is very important in a relationship but no woman wants a crybaby. crying on occasion is normal and healthy.

The only times I can think of when it is ok for a guy to cry are...
1. Someone really important/close to him dies. (Sadness)
2. He finds out he's going to be a father. (Joy)
