I suspect my 44 year old boyfriend is planning to propose at Christmas. I want to play a joke on him for making me wait soooo long. Any suggestions?

Why would you want to make a joke out of something so serious. It should be a special time that should be meaningful and taken seriously. You may really hurt his feelings playing a joke on him.

If you dont know how to accept a proposal after being with him for 6 years , maybe the answer should be no. If I where you , I'd take the ring , say thanks for the 6 years,that was sweet of you. now where's the big one for the engagement.

Rethink the joke. Bad timing. Save it for later when you are both in a funny mood. This is big time stuff! If you want to marry him, accept the RING, kiss him, and ask if he will be available for a Valentine's wedding!

You must be happy, at least at last he is proposing you. How about asking him to propose you with the Santa Claus attire, and singing the Christmas Carol, and bring the proposal ring as a present from Santa.

nah don't bother. toy with him but don't hurt him. after all maybe he was too scared you would turn him down or somehting and he may have spent a long time trying to make the moment perfect. don't be cruel just playful.
