And the answer is HELLLL NO! I did not enslave you, you were never a slave, your parents were never slaves, your grand parents were never slaves. You have never been to Africa, hence you are NOT african-american, just american. Shanequa, and LeBron, are NOT african names! There are more opportunities for black people nowadays than white people, and STILL, they are way behind the curve. It is not society, the government or anyone but yourselves keeping you down. Read Bill Cosbys comments on blacks.... And again this is for a select few, not All black people. You claim that "You have been here for 400 yrs bc you were dragged from Africa" Just stop making excuses, get educated and better yourself. How come Asian people as a whole have been here for 1-2 generations and they own a store or business, yet some blacks claim they have been here 400yrs and they have nothing but welfare and living in the projects? Again, this is only targeted to black people who have it "out" for white people.

AHHH i believe you have spoken for a large portion of the silent 'whitey'. THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!
My ancestors were historically anglo-saxon, I am as white as they get. I know I'm tired of listening to complaints about what happened many many generations ago. I married a native american and I believe they are the ones who have endured suffering the longest...and I'm not talking about Cherokee indians. Not all indians got reparations.

I've heard this before however, it is still the most intelligent thing I have heard. Too bad not as many people have a decent history class. I suppose when society twists historical events and only says or does things that are politically correct people lose focus of the truth. Also for everyone who is still mad over the "white man" making Africans slaves you might want to have a chat with the Portuguese, I do believe they first brought you here. Oh and by the way the Portuguese bought the original slaves from other Africans because they were their slaves from rival tribes. That's what happened when there was a war and you became a prisoner. Have a Great Day.

Firstly, you're an idiot. Secondly, aren't white people more willing to help anyone who isn't Black? And lastly, why is it that no matter how educated you are, you don't get promoted? Why is it that Black men with doctorate degrees statistically make 70% less than White men with Bachelor's degrees? There are Black people trying to succeed and they are still met with that racist attitude. In the end, it is the fault of White people. You need to keep people down to stay on top. Just look at the poverty in the third world. Just so Europe and America can prosper, you guys ruined the conomies of Latin America and Africa with your "structural adjustment" programs.

African people sold the slaves to whites. They still have slavery in some areas of Africa. Yes, read Bill Cosby. He don't like white people either though. It is not about color of your skin anymore, It's about education. Teach peace. Stay in school, and never get addicted to anything. In California, white people are a minority now.

in fact it was the Africans selling other tribes to the whites. look at Africa today. The ones that got out as slaves at least had a chance for a better life for their kids and descendants. Look at them starving babies and be glad you are not there. I think a 'thank you whitey' is in order.

Some blacks are poor for the same reason some whites are poor. because they are lazy! they choose not to better themselves and create excuses instead, "I came from a bad family, by dad beat me, Im black and dont get a chance, Im white and all the jobs are given to other races".
i used to work with a few guys that if anything did not go their way they would blame it on them being black and completely overlook the FACT that the other guy went to college, or showed up to work on time, or didnt call in sick 1-2 days a week or my favorite.. didnt take 45 minutes on their 15 minute breaks.
Excuses

Oh, please! We have no one to blame but ourselves. It could be our lack of knowledge or just the stupid decisions we make in life. I am sick of hearing this. I am black (not african-american- born and raised in America) and nobody can hold me down but me.
