You may want to take a few measures to prevent egg laying. Hens that lay too many eggs can become calcium deficient and egg bound.
If you don't already have one, put a cuttle bone in the cage so she can replace her calcium. You can also give her mashed up cooked egg, including some of the mashed up shell.
Remove any nesting material from the cage, to discourage laying and nesting. If she continues to lay despite having no nest box, you can boil the eggs, cool them, then let her sit on them. If she has eggs to "brood", she may not lay more to replace those you remove.
Most importantly, make sure she has at least 12 hours of dark sleep per day. If necessary, close the blinds in her room, or cover her cage early in the evening so she doesn't have too many hours of daylight. Longer days affect her hormones, which may lead to egg laying.
If she continues to lay, and you see symptoms of her being restless, breathing heavily and being puffed up, she may be egg bound and you'll need to get her to an avian vet to save her life. I'd try preventing the laying before that happens.

Your bird is female and she has laid unfertilized eggs. Do not take these eggs away without doing some research first. Let your bird decide when she is done with her eggs. You'll need to find some good parakeet webpages and/or books to read up on. There's a way you can put her into "wintering mode" and stop her from laying them. You should also buy a calcium supplement to prevent her from becoming eggbound. I wish I knew all this back when my cockateil became eggbound and passed. Such a horrible time for me. :(

Well any female bird can lay eggs, they just wont be fertile. Do you eat fertile chicken eggs? No a male is never allowed near the hens.
Some birds can become depressed when you remove an egg but the sooner you remove them the better they will be.

This is like a woman getting her period. Birds can lay eggs but they're infertile like a woman does monthly without a man around. Perfectly normal. I have a three year old lovebird which lays a blank egg about every six months.

Like the others are telling you, the eggs are infertile, small birds will lay eggs, keep the eggs in the cage as long as you can, because she will try to replace them as you take them out..You need to give her a medicine that will keep her from binding. I had a cockatiel that laid eggs every year, I never gave her the medicine, and she died trying to lay an egg...The binding medicine is very important.. I hope this helps..

my cockatiel was laying eggs, we would take them away and she kept having them. We then left them in there for 2 weeks and she eventually left them be. We then bought a small parakeet for her and she hasnt laid an egg since. I think she wanted a lil friend or baby for herself. The girls are as happy as can be now. Maybe buy another bird.

Many birds lay unfertilized eggs. Chickens do it all the time. Some parakeets do this also. Personally, I would remove one egg and wait a week and remove the other.Have a tweet holiday.

If your bird keeps putting out eggs, try going to a craft store to find a fake eg the same size and shape as hers, and put it in the nest. My friends bird was laying too many eggs and it was ruining her bones by depleting her calcium reserves.

Females lay eggs even if she has not mated with a male. This is normal for all hens.
