i need your opinions about this!!!! cause I'm planning to give this guy a present, but my mom told me that it's not right for a girl. please help!! i'm planning to give this guy a cd with love songs on and some kind of fun songs on it, and some kisses for Xmas. He also gave me a gift.
After my mom told me that it's just not right, i felt that if i'm gonna give him a gift, i may look like i'm a slut or something like chasing him.
Please everyone i need your opinions and suggestions!!!!!!!!!

Sweety, its OK to give a guy a present.I gave my man a present when we first got together and I still do.Its Vise Versa. Its so old fashion only for the guys to give gifts, were about to be in 2007! LOL :) No its nothing wrong.It actually makes them feel good and appreciated. And its not like you're giving him a RoLeX or something, its a nice CD with love songs on it to show him how you feel :) Its romantic, GO FOR IT!

I do not suppose it is bizarre. Some of my male peers and I probably alternate presents on party. I not too long ago went on holiday and discovered a hat that used to be ultimate for a male pal. It used to be 30 dollars however I purchased it for him an he cherished it. I btw do have a bf and he's exceptional with it. When you're just about a few one you could have a courting. It might not be intimate like bf and gf however it's nonetheless a courting. If you're the sort of individual that suggests your emotions for a few one through presents then so be it. I am. Maybe at some point this lady will likely be greater than a pal and might be now not. You are doing no mistaken in getting her presents. Moms are always right in the end. Don't do it girl. Yes, as harsh as it seems to write, you would look like you are chasing after him. Don't break a sweat trying to do anything out of the way for him. Guys are hunters by nature. Guys like to do the chasing and capturing.

my gf always gives me gifts... it's her way of showing how much she loves me... along with many other great ways she takes care of me. I would definitely say GO FOR IT (especially if you are in a relationship with him). If you don't know him that well, then still go for it. It's just a CD-- no big deal. Oh, and there's nothing wrong with showing a guy you are interested. My gf won me over by treating me really well.

Yes it is ok... I once gave the love of my life (my guy... we were dating) I gave him a box of chocolates, expensive ones. And there is nothing wrong with that!!!
You are not chasing him, and if he gave u something, then it is better, it's ok, just think about it like he gave u something and now you are returning the favor... so it's like a thank you for the present he gave u.

I don't think it's bad to buy a gift - i give my boyfriend gifts all the time - however i expect him to give me some too!!!

of course its okay. especially if he got you something. is he your friend or boyfriend? your mom seems weird. but you should definetely go for it.
