Assuming you're buying, I'd get a Toyota Camry. Most useful.

Legacy is expensive (altho fast and AWD)
Prius is too unknown, especially if you go past the warranty and need it repaired
Civic is a less useful Camry (and not that much cheaper for comparable features) and more likely to be stolen

Subaru engines are not used in airplanes, the horozontaly opposed engin design is... I'd get the civic because:

Hybrid is odd and probably hard/ expensive to work on.
My buddy has a camry that has constant problems.
Subaru AWD has more things to break and wear out and is less efficient.
Honda is dirt cheap and will last a long time.

I'd get the Honda as Toyota's quality has been slipping as of late, and Subaru's are a expensive to work on due to the engines that they use. i won't doubt that they're reliable, but the design is terrible from a service standpoint.

Get either one of the Toyota ones. Why? No specific reason, I just like Toyota better then Honda or subaru

Camry, I think it's the nicest of the four. Hondas do last forever though

I would definitely take the civic because they are really easy to customize, although the subaru is the most dependable

Civic, on the cheaper side of the four, with nice resale value.

hard to beat a Honda
Subaru engines are used in airplaces, thus are most reliable.
