I GAVE THIS GUY A CHRISTMAS CARD ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO WITH A CANDY CANE ON IT AND ALL HE SAID WAS "OH" AND NEVER SAID THANK YOU OR ANYTHING! I'M CONFUSED BECAUSE HE STARES AT ME ALL THE TIME AND TRIES TO TALK TO ME AND WAVES AT ME IN THE HALL SOMETIMES.. IS HE JUST A "WEIRDO" OR WHAT?? EITHER HE'S REALLY REALLY SHY OR REALLY REALLY RUDE!!

Well maybe he was just shocked with the card you gave him and was speechless. Or he just doesn't care and he is giving you mixed signals with his stares. If he liked you no matter how shy Im sure even if at that moment he didnt say thanks he would have eventually. So that's what I think anyways

I'd say he's a jerk. I am alittle shy but if someone I liked or even someone I didn't like for that matter, gave me a christmas card i'd say thank you very much with a big smile.

Since you gave him a candy cane, he may have thought you are immature. Sometimes your intentions aren't clear through a small gift like that. If you care enough, take him to dinner.

Sounds to me like he is not exactly sure how to handle things now. Looking and waving and talking are one thing, but NOW . . . lol . . . . it's a whole new ball game because he is realizing that you might actually like him and he does not know what to do. Might be worried about what his friends say . . . . could be anything really. I am assuming he is in his teens?? He has a LOT of growing up to do, so please, don't fret . . . he is behind you in maturing, that's all. Maybe try asking him about it . . . . kind of jokingly . . . . just to see his reaction . . . you might be able to pick up on his feelings quickly and easily.

He probably was just taken aback that you gave him a nice gesture and forgot to say thank you. Just wish him a merry christmas and talk to him more and you'll see if he's rude or just shy.

its very rude when a person doesnt even acknowledge you with a simple "thank you."
no manners what so ever
i find that to be the case for me lately after sending out xmas cards too.
