i mean yes, there are bad immigrants and good immigrants just like people all over. but what i just cant understand is this country was founded on people who wanted to escape their lifes. and make a better one for themselves. personally im not some tree hugging hippie that belives that everything should be fair but when someone leaves everything they have. to cross a border on foot for miles to bust their butts for a crappy wage but they know its better than what they made before. and then they send about 85 percent of their wages to their families back at home. they should have all the rights to come here. that right there is an answer to why illegal immigrants always take your job its because they are willing to do anything to survive. we as a civilization are no longer hungery as we should be. if we bust our a**es as much as them. we wouldnt be losing our jobs now would we.

I'm an American and I've worked in two foreign countries. I did so legally. Filled in the forms. Paid the fees. Jumped through the hoops. Even had to register with the local police in one place. But I try to be a law abiding person, so I was willing to do so to get the jobs. The bonus was that I didn't have to worry about getting caught and jailed or deported.

People who enter a country illegally show by their actions that they are willing to break rules and laws for their own personal benefit. Why should we trust them to obey the rest of the laws that help keep the peace here? Want to come work in the US, do it legally. If there's really a labor shortage, and there may be, and no illegals came here then the laws would quickly be changed to allow more to enter legally.

I agree with most everything you're saying, but the key word is
'ILLEGAL" I want you to realize that there is a process one must
follow the law and all will be OK....There is something else you
said I disagree with, "and then they send about 85 percent of their
wages to their families back at home". Well, what about the
Income taxes all of us has to pay? Why are you exempt?
I am not mean I believe I am very fair and I think immigrants
are hard workers, good people and deserve a break but laws
must be followed so that you can achieve the respect you demand.

Because America needs a scapegoat for all it's problems. Isn't it funny though, that a Mexican cannot come in legally to work, but an Arab with money can come here legally on a visa and learn how to fly airliners into buildings? This is what makes me so mad. That our security can be sold out to the highest bidder. I am the son of immigrants, and I have served in the Army for nine years, and fought in combat, but the American right wants you to believe that my parents came here to raise criminals and live off of welfare checks, like trailer trash. We blame the Mexican for taking our jobs, while big corporations export those jobs overseas to places like India and China. It is time for America to focus on real solutions to our Nations problems, not just find blame in a group of people, this isn't NAZI Germany.
