I think you should start by aiding their country. Believe it or not, a lot of people actually want to stay in their own country. Why not make it livable?

Dont give money to africa, you are only funding corruption. We can not control what happens in africa, which is why we can not contain their problem with aids. The last thing we need is to bring a bunch of people with aids to live in the usa. Who would pay their medical bills? Stop donating to lost causes, try donating to an organization that plans to bring about political change in the region. Otherwise you only put money into the hands of criminals who are too greedy to be concerned about aids in their own country. Anytime we give africans free medicine, their local governments find a way to make them pay for it. Which means they are helping to kill people by refusing to give out the drug for free as it was intended.

I am a Black American citizen. Why does everyone think that Americans should give handouts to other countries all the time. I don't wish harm on any one, but I am a middle class American citizen that is having a hard enough time keeping up with my own bills because our government is always taking from us to give to someone that is from somewhere else. I totally believe in giving to others, but only after I've taken care of my own first. I suggest trying to make a difference where you are from. If they do get to come here to America, I really hope it is legally. Just remember... HIV & AIDS has affected Americas society also. There are American citizens that can't get proper treatment do to lack of medical benefits. They sure can't go to Africa to get anyone to help them there. They'd be laughed all the way back to the states.

Well for one they wouldn't be allowed to come here due to the obvious health risks and two you don't fix the problem by bringing them here you fix the problem there with education and awareness.
You know teach a man to fish vs just giving him a fish.

I don't believe sick people are allowed to come here by the millions. The health care system is already overwhelmed and cannot afford to provide free care and expect to remain in business.
