Hua is pronounced like a combination of the English words "who" and "ah", so it is "who-ah", but like one syllable instead of two. Some can only pronounce it correctly by saying "Hwah". Anyway it rhymes with the word "Aha" and "Mama", but not with "way" and "sway".
