There is certainly no age limit (as has been stated numerous times already), but certain styles emphasize flexibility, which if you aren't already somewhat flexible may become discouraging. It's not impossible, but often times older students get frustrated at having to work harder than their younger, more agile counterparts. That's not to say you shouldn't give it a try if that is your interest. I've seen all sorts of students of different age ranges and abilities. I had one older student that became disenchanted with the idea of sitting in a horse stance for 10 minutes and decided that Aikido was more his speed. Aikido isn't any easier than any other martial art, but it doesn't have any hard strikes or odd stances.
Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what age you are, you are still limited by the schools available in your area. Hopefully there is one close to you that suites your needs.
Good luck!

There is absolutely no age limit whatsoever for learning martial arts. Some people pick one up in their 80s. I started doing kung fu when I was 19 and the age range in my class, as well as the other classes, was huge. There were young kids to grandparents. The instructor was a Asian guy in his 50s whom I would not take advantage of if I were smart. A great teacher.
So start kung fu and have a blast!

Depends on the style of Kung Fu. I'm not one for the traditional arts, but if I had to pick Kung Fu then I'd pick one of the Southern styles if I was older, and a Northern style if I was younger. Whats your age and physical condition? If your the typic man in his 60's then Northern style high kicks aren't for you, but Southern style fist would be. If your younger then high fancy kicks might be something you'll like.

There are no age limits. The limit comes from that which you create in your mind. You can start martial arts when you are born to when you die. I've seen kids mimicing punches and kicks when they were two years old. I have seen Masters practicing in parks who are over nintey. Martial Arts is a lifestyle. To learn it truly and honestly is a road to self discovery I will never regret.

Learning martial art does not have an age limit, just as education.

Not as such. I mean I have had students that didn't start until they were past 50. It is simply a matter of willingness to put the time and effort into the training.

I did karate when I was like 5 but I later switched to hapkido when I was 13. My 75 year old grandmother also did hapkido and she just did modified forms of the harder things, then she went and learned cane fighting and did well with that.

I started Tae Kwon Do at age 44. 15 years later I am a 3rd degree black belt. I have friends who started even late than I did.

Yes, you can still learn. It will just be a little more difficult. You will have to learn to work smarter and train very diligently.
