Why do people still think that the US is doing the world a favor by attacking Iraq?

First of all im not european or canadian, im mexican

Of course the US did a great job in WWI and WWII and probably the course of the war wouldve changed completely if the US hadnt intervened. but can u tell me why u intervened? oh yes, Pearl Harbor, a foreign attack on ur soil. Iraq War, can u tell me the reasons? stupid reasons.
My reason to beleive that most americans think they protect the world is because you can see it in the American Media.
Saying Saddam had WMD and using it as an excuse to invade Iraq? thats definetely not a concrete and real reason to start a war.
War on terrorism? like i said, u lost it a long time ago.
and no im not concerned of a terrorist attack happening here in my own country. and my travel experiences have shown me that many europeans think that way, besides Spanish and Brits. Why? Oh thats right, they also invaded Iraq. so in a way or so, the only thing that ur president has caused, is that more people hate the US, spain, and the UK.

Im saying that the US already lost the war on terrorism. Because many americans are AFRAID of another attack on their soil. so the terrorists won that one.
War in Iraq, i know most americans would prefer the troops to come back. But they still say theyre heroes (which they are) but they also mention theyre heroes and that they serve all of humanity. HMM no, they serve the stupid ambition of a small circle of powerful people in your government.

Someone mentioned earlier that it was better for a terrorist to be in Iraq than on my home soil. Well of course, but the probability of a terrorist attack happening in my country is very low, the same applies to the rest of the world, except the US, UK, and Spain. So thats another point for terrorists, that war hasnt made america a safer place, the complete opposite.

They were mad. Thousand of innocent civilians had just been killed for no reason. They thought that maybe if they invaded Iraq and fought had enough they could get al-Quida to stop they're killing of civilians. Sure this lead to the death of many in war but they were justified deaths. And the US isn't just trying to help themselves, no they're doing what they have always done. They are trying to help another country too. There are many Iraqis out there who are very happy that the US start this war. They have gotten the right to vote and they haven't been as oppresed by al-Quida members. I have on televison many Iraqi women especially who were beaten to death with rocks just for looking at a man a certain way. Believe me, they are happyier than they have ever been. They can even vote now.
And sure the war has resulted in the deaths of many more but Sic vis pacem, para bellum. If you want peace, prepare for war.
The Romans spent many years fighting and they were the supreme rulers of Europe and do you know what finally happened. Pax Romana, a 200 year period of peace. I guess thats kind of what the US wants. They don't really want these wars but if they were to not fight, this would encourage more attacks on the US. It like standing up to a bully, you have to do it.

You cannot blame the US for thinking Saddam had WMDs. He wasnt complying with UN inspectors so what are we supposed to think? One think people seem to forget, if we are ever going to stabalize the Middle East Saddam has to be out of power. Now he is.
