How old were you when you got your first special someone?

^_^ That thought makes me smile. What a pleasant question.
Well, I met him in 8th grade in English class. We went to a few movies and mini-golfed throughout 9th and 10th grade (but at that time we wouldn't call them dates). We were best friends and had the same social circle. We knew we liked each other, but were shy and didn't let the other know.
The August before Junior year after his band camp (which I came and visited him during his lunch) that night we finally told each other we liked one another. So that's when we were 'official' and half way through our Senior year we're still together and plan on going to the same college and still being together. We still are best friends.
So I don't know when you consider the time when I 'got' him.
We just grew on each other. Hard to remember a time when we didn't have each other.
To answer your question regarding how old we were:
We're both young for our grade... so in 8th we were 13. And when we got together we were 15 still going on 16. This year we both turned 17 at the beginning of 12th grade.
^_^ That made me smile remembering all that. I hope remembering your first special someone brings a smile to your face too.

that's a really hard question to answer cause I'm not sure that it was love.I mean I did at the time but looking back that's not what love is suppose to be like.And then there was my last boyfriend who I was with for 6 years but the only reason I stayed with him was for the kid we had together.I guess what I'm trying to say is that none of the relationships I've ever been in would constitute as being a love match(lust match yeah)But that special someone will be the man I marry(my first real love)and he'll be the one that knows everything about me the good and bad and still want to love me the way I deserve to be.

I was 15 when I started dating but my true relationship where I felt this was the guy that I was going to spend the rest of my life with was 17. I know It was this guy because I still get chills thinking about him! Of course we never made It that far but I had a great time trying.
