Last year, I moved away to another city (still in the same state) right when I started high school. One day a good female friend of mine introduced me to someone amazing. She was beautiful, funny, and really the only girl I talked to. We spoke almost every day and even flirted a bit.

The next year (Sophomore), it seemed like we got even closer. I started to realize that I did like her a lot, and getting even closer would be great. I started building up my confidence to ask her out, but early last month she said she was moving, about four states away. I was crushed. I told her that I really liked her and that I'd miss her. She seemed relieved, but sad that she was leaving.

We traded email addresses, and after she moved she sent me an email saying that she really missed me and her friends. After a few weeks of talking, I sent her an email that basically poured out my feelings. Now I haven't heard from her in almost a month, neither has her best friend. Did I mess up our friendship?

She's visiting over the summer. I want to talk to her about everything, but I don't know if she even wants to see me.

About moving on:

With my newfound confidence I've been talking to more girls, and just people in general. I've kept myself busy and tried not to dwell on missing her too much. But right now I just don't feel the same about any girl than I did with her. Speaking to her cheered me up every day no matter what, but I have yet to meet someone else like that. Moving on helps a bit, but in a way it sets me back even more.

Well as a girl i know that i might be a little shocked at first.... but give her some time and she will reply... as for ur friendship i honestly am not that sure.... it might be a little rocky at first but it'll get back to normal eventually. You should try writing her an email explaining that u didn't mean to shock her and put her on the spot and if u had the chance to take it away you would and that you wouldn't risk anything for your friendship and that you wish she would understand and that you want her acting normal with you again... well writhing back emails normally ... well talk about run on sentance lol anyways back to u i hope i helped :D

It sounds like she's trying to make a decision. She will open communication up again in due time, but she needs to decide if a long term relationship is worth it. I'm sure you're a great guy, but you're young and I know you both want to go out on Friday/ Saturday nights. Besides it's easier to start a relationship before the move rather than after. How long will you have to wait for a first kiss or date? Do you have a car? Can you visit her? All of these things will factor into whether the relationship will work whether you two like each other or not.

Better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all....
Don´t worry about the fact that she did not respond you did the right thing. Just move on and try to find someone else.

Well, since her best friend hasn't heard from her either, maybe something has happened in her life and she has not had time to get in touch, wait a little while and see if the friend has heard from her...Don't read anything into it yet.......

If you said the word "love" when you poured your feelings out, that's what did it,if you didn't you're o.k; she will e- mail you again..
