Jesus is more powerful than Satan. For one thing, Jesus was at the creation of the world with His Father and the Holy Spirit. Secondly, at the crucifixion, Christ defeated Satan, because, even though the Jews and the Romans put him to death on the cross, he went to the cross for us willingly. Thirdly, after the crucifixion, and after being buried for three days, He arose again and was seen by more than 500 people, including the disciples. He raised people from the dead, and he performed miracles, that Satan couldn't even begin to perform. And another thing, Jesus is the Final Judge that holds the keys to both Heaven and Hell, and he will throw Satan and all his minions into the Lake of Fire and Satan will be destroyed for all time. Satan cannot do anything to us, or Christ that he is not allowed.

Let me ask you this: Who is going to win in the end? When the final battle of the ages is concluded, who will emerge as the victor: God or Satan?

I think you know the answer: Satan will be defeated, and God will be victorious. And the reason is because God is stronger than Satan, and someday Satan will be a defeated foe. The Bible promises that at the end of time God will say, "Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:41). Satan is powerful and we need to take him seriously—but God is more powerful, and someday His victory will be complete.

In fact, Satan is already a defeated foe. The war still rages, but the decisive battle has already been fought! When Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He overcame all the forces of death and evil and Hell—including Satan himself. The Bible says, "Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57).

This is why the most important step you can take is to ask Jesus Christ to come into your life, and commit yourself to Him. God loves you, and He doesn't want you to live a life of constant defeat. Instead, He wants to forgive the past and give you a new power for living—the power of the Holy Spirit. By faith ask Christ to come into your life today—and He will.

Satan is not very powerful. He is just an angel who rebelled against his creator.

But he is a very good lier and people keep believing his lies. This does make him powerful among those foolish enough to believe him. He does make some great promises. But he doesn't keep them. He hates you and all mankind because God created you and he wants to hurt God as well as you.

John 8:42-47
2 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47 He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."
(from New International Version)

The words of Jesus:
John 10:10
10 The thief (the devil) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
(from New International Version)

So, who are you going to believe ?

The reason why saintain is more powerfull then Jesus right now is because saintan worked with God once until saintan disobey him. So saintan used the clever powers he got from God for his evil deeds. Because humans are so weak, we give into saintan evil powers. It is because of the Fall.

Satan can put each and every creature of God, into test through temptation but Satan can
not put the Lord our God Almighty, into test through temptation.

How, Satan can put the Almighty God into test through temptation when everything in heaven and earth belongs to God and there is nothing, which God cannot create independently. Since Satan put Jesus into test through temptation, therefore, Jesus was not God or Son of God. Instead, Jesus was a lowly man and a prophet of God.

Moreover, after the test of temptation angels helped Jesus to recover his normal life status.

Matthew says:
“Then Jesus answered, “Go away, Satan! The Scripture says, “worship the Lord your God and serve only God”, then the Devil left Jesus; and angels came and helped him”.
(Matthew 4:10, 11)

God is Omnipotent and is not helped by the angels or grow weak some time. Instead, God is the Only Almighty Helper. God commands angels to help the helpless. Therefore, it is confirmed that Jesus was not God but a lowly man and a prophet of God.

while satan is not more powerful, he paints an easier picture her eon earth. you don't have to be good, you have to live only for yourself and care naught about the feelings/well being of others. Jesus is more powerful for those who choose to accept Him. He can and does make your life so much better. satan will still try to trip you up but Jesus is always there to catch you. Jesus also grants a wonderful eternal life - and that one makes life here bearable!

Satan will never be more powerful than Jesus, who is the son of God. Satan will do all that he can to tempt us to do wrong things but if you pray to Jesus, he will help you. Jesus is all love and all forgiving. You only need to ask him for help and he will give it to you.

Jesus is the King of Kings; Lord of Lords. Everything was created for Him. Satan does not have a chance against Jesus.

It is only our perception that makes us think "bad things happen"; we are too infantile in our understanding to comprehend God's plan. Everything happens for a reason - good and bad; it's what we choose to do with these 'events' is what matters.

If God gives you lemons; make lemonade.
