hey im lee im 14 and i feel kinda weird aboit school this year... last year i was to busy to relize how much people talked about boys and dident notice all the girls kissing there b/f in the halls... im in 8th grade and feel weird because i dont have a b/f....i dont wanna do any of that gross stuff like "oral" i know im way to young for that but i really just want a hug or a kiss from a boy.. i have befor but that was in 6th grade.. i feel like were all going to fast but i also feel left behind.... i dont no if it is what i look like or how i act.... im extreamily outgoing and energetic... i like playing football with the boys and stuff but at the same time i go shopping and stuff.. im a great softball player and my friends say on a scale of 0 to 10 im a 8 on how pritty i am.... dose it have to do with me being really active and hanging out with alot of guys... i dont act all like boyish but i do skateboard... am i missing out or just making myself misrable?

lol- that was funny. relax. your waaaaay too young to get worried yet. keep doin what your doin. the boys will come. you are the first young girl on here who sounds normal! i dint get my first girl friend till my sophomore year in high school- i spent freshmen year feeling exactly how you describe. really - itll come. have fun, dress to impress, and be approachable - the boys will come to you. you sound great! keep at it!!

I went too fast when I was your age...I had no self esteem-felt like I had to have a boyfriend to "be OK". Boy do I feel stupid now! :)
You have loads of time for all the boy/girl drama! Enjoy this part of your life. Keep yourself healthy-eat well, continue your active pursuits, and learn all you can from your school work. Make some female friends! Go shopping and buy some feminine tops to go with your jeans! Smile a alot, laugh a lot!! In the end it is all about how healthy a package you are, Mind, body and spirit! You DON"T need to start something at this age when boys are ALL about hormones anyway. Look forward to your life without financial and emotional burdens. (No kids until you marry in your late 20's or 30's. Good job because you took care of your options by getting good grades now!)A woman should be able to take care of herself-look around even in marriages that are working, both spouses must work!

Your not really rushing. When I was in 8th grade, I dated a few girls and we never did anything sexual. It all depends on what you want. If your in love with a boy and want to ask him out, go for it. If you dont, then I recommend waiting until you find someone you really like and will enjoy dating.

Well, That is very normal, I had my first boyfriend this year and I'm a senior in high school.
I like men to hug me and kiss me, I'M A VIRGIN. and I enjoy being like this..
You'll find him, without having to look for him. Be pacient. And you will enjoy having him even more.
