I think thats spelt right. I was just wondering what the prescribed tablets above are used for?

It's chief purpose is to be used as an anti-anxiety medication. Xanax is one of it's brand names; it's pharmaceutical name is Alprazolam.

Discussion of this particular medication is often very controversial. In addition to mixed information regarding this medication, you're also going to receive mixed feedback. There will be people who will swear to it's positive benefits, while there will be others who will emphasize it's addictive nature.

Other than to state that ANY medication not prescribed and / or not used properly - or used for purposes other than it's proper intent - can be harmful, I'm not going to join in on the debate. there has been written to you about bad things.
let me tell you some of the good things, it is not generally used for a sleeping pill, but when you are very stressed, hurting mentally from things going on in life that you have no control over, example, a mom or dad dying. take them as directed and i have never meet anyone who had a problem taking them. or stop taking them when they no longer needed them.

For ANXIETY
It's NOT a sleeping pill...taking too many/experiencing side effects can make it seem like one.
Basically it makes you chilled, drowsy, relaxed..taking too many can cause passing out, slurred speech slow reaction, memory loss

Anxiety and depression. They are extremely addictive and hard to get off of.

It's a nasty and horrible sleeping pill that is highly addictive and generally horrible.

It was one of the prescription drugs that killed my mother.
